In Memoriam of MUJI ANANTA (1972-2012)

The Indonesian Fashion World had lost one of their talented designers. His name is Muji Ananta, who died on Friday, 27th April 2012 because of the illness he had from a month earlier. He joined APPMI Bali (Association of Indonesian Fashion Designers and Entrepreneurs, Bali’s chapter) on year 2004.

Muji (that’s how we called him), graduated from Art & Design College in Solo and Yogjakarta. Then moved to Bali and start his business by opening his own label.  Bali Fashion Week 2001 is where he starts his career as a Fashion Designer.

By joining APPMI had made his career growing. Participating on several shows, both Local and International, such as; Fashion Tendance APPMI, Jakarta Fashion Food & Festival (JF3), Jogja Fashion Week, Hongkong Fashion Week, and several in German, Dubai and Switzerland.

It shows very creatively how his passion on Art has giving him lots of  limitless ideas and designing, as well how he develop the fabrics had made his collection very original, spectacular and unforgettable.  

As he passed away too soon, it had given all his close’s friends a deep sadness.  Especially his friends from APPMI Bali. We would like to remember about Muji Ananta as a partner in fashion fields and as a dearest friend…….

Monika Weber: He’s a very creative artist & unique, creator without limit, silly, love jokes, humble, my best friend in up and down

Dwi Iskandar: Muji is very talented, genius with his creative ideas, his silly jokes which always cheer up and entertaining, very humble

Putu Aliki: Muji  is a kind person, humble, low profile, very intelligent,  an artist without limit and don’t like the limit, he does made us laughs when he’s trying to make an poetic sentence with his ‘silly poetic words’

Yenli Wijaya: Muji is a creative person, talented, low profile and humble….a friend who is good to talk with and laugh, he is unforgettable

Bintang Mira: Muji is a funny person, his idea of jokes, genius, I love his design…very creative…can create an ordinary fabric become wow!...high dreamer and limitless ideas

Dewi Suarjani: Muji is very creative, mysterious, his jokes is very supportive

Eny Ming: Muji is an artistic personality as well his creation, with his afford less he still willing to help others

Tjok Abi : Muji is a very talented designer, especially in developing fabrics become a very spectacular gown,  he’s also an expert on making me laugh which can ease my problem away

Good bye my friend….even though your time is sort, your life is meaningful and your stories are impressed us all. Your sweet memories and all your beautiful creations will stay remain in us, forever….APPMI Bali
